Patrice "Patti" Mohyde

Patrice "Patti" Mohyde, age 68, of Huntington, CT, passed away February 16, 2026 in her home.

 
She was born in Bridgeport, CT to the late Charles and Doris (Reich) Mohyde.  Patti was an operations manager for Cardiac Specialists where she worked for over 33 years.

 Patti had a fiery personality but still the biggest heart.  She so loved her family and friends. She was the matriarch of our family for 34 years after mom passed and the glue that held our family together.  She loved to travel and so enjoyed fine dining from around the world. Patti was an excellent cook and was thrilled when people came over to enjoy her culinary skills.  She was an avid dog lover, and would pet every single dog that she saw.  

Patti is survived by her beloved husband Michael L. Scalzi and his sons, Brian, Peter and Timothy Scalzi, her twin sister Pamela, with whom she resided, her brothers Charles "Bill" Mohyde Jr. and his wife Donna, Donald Mohyde and his wife Carol, and her sister Maureen Mohyde and her wife Liane Stevens and many cherished nieces and nephews.  

Friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Wednesday at 10:45 a.m. at St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Ave. Shelton, CT. Interment to follow at Huntington Lawn South Cemetery, 216 Huntington St., Huntington, CT.  Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 3-7 p.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull, CT.
